Indie, much?
Put your MP3 player on shuffle, write down the first lines of the first twenty-five songs that come up, and then have people guess which songs they are.

  1. Born in a nation, a young generation is praying for salvation out of damnation.
  2. Five days in a watery cave.
  3. G-R-double E-N LEAVES!
  4. If I give you sugar, will you give me something elusive and temporary?
  5. It was twenty years ago that Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play.
  6. A pretty girl is like a minstrel show.
  7. Love of mine, someday you'll die, but I'll be close behind.
  8. Sailing 'cross the seas pursuing sorry ships who don't know they're sinkin'.
  9. Monster hospital, can you please release me?
  10. Car radio. That's what I got.
  11. Face me evil bastards, smell the hate of angels.
  12. The people will survive in their environment.
  13. Times have changed, and times are strange.
  14. Don't wanna be the one to pop your cherry, girl.
  15. It's been five years. We've had good and bad.
  16. Words from your lips. Oh, cursed hips. Oh, this ghetto is in my blood.
  17. In matching blue raincoats, our shoes were our showboats.
  18. We'll wake up your mothers. We'll start a commotion.
  19. New blood joins this earth, and quickly he's subdued.
  20. In the cold light of day, the colors all fade away.
  21. I wonder if he knows the pressure the he shows.
  22. Beautiful day, watching you as you awake.
  23. In America, I was just sixteen.
  24. We are building a religion. We are building it bigger.
  25. It's a scene from a movie. It's an aisle of the store.
Yeah. Like those before me, I made a point not to repeat any bands. It's also worth mentioning that there was quite a bit of instrumental music mixed in there too, most notably Yuki Kajiura and The Pillows. If William should ever see my list, I'm sure he'd do much better naming them than anyone else I know. Hopefully, he'd be proud.
