| Schools Out Again |
Schools finally out. It feels kind of weird though since it didn't end with tests.
So William is back, and he has some cool music. There's some stuff on his iTunes I want to get from him, such as the 69 Love Songs and various stuff from people like Death Cab for Cutie, Metric, and K.T. Tunstall. He also bought some CD's that I've already put on my computer- Eliza Gilkyson, James McMurtry, and the Stubbs the Zombie soundtrack. The Stubbs the Zombie soundtrack is pretty interesting because it has indie bands doing songs from the 60's.
Today, Jodi just kinda showed up and said we were going to lunch with her and Jinna. William, Gracie, and I met up with them at Sakura. Since the tables seat eight people, they put us at a table with 2 people already. Those two people happen to be Jackie Rapp and a guy I presume was her boyfriend. Interesting.
Music wasn't the only thing William came back with. He gave me a downloaded copy of Sandman. Sandman is quite famous in the comic book world and was recommended by a web comic author I read the comic of, so I was delighted. I must say, it is fantastic. A wee bit gory sometimes, but great none the less. William also gave me a copy of this documentary by Richard Dawkins called The Root of All Evil?. It sounds good. I also have a copy of the movie Time Bandits. William gave it to me and specifically told me I needed to watch it with a group, so I guess I'll have to invite everyone over some time to watch it. It has some Monty Python guys in it and sounds pretty funny.
That's all for now.
