Happy Birthday Jodi!!!
Isn't it amazing? I actually have a post about today.
I hate activity schedule. I really do. It means I have to be at school at 9:00 instead of 9:07. This morning, at 8:55, I suddenly got this sick feeling that today was activity schedule (though I didn't know it for sure. So I rushed to get ready and arrived at AHS at 9:04. Tardy bell rings at 9:05. So I ran to Spanish without bothering with going to my locker. Of course, my notebook with all my homework and notes and junk was in my locker. The day didn't start off too well.
I probably missed at least three on that Biology test. I did better on the W. Geography test than I expected to with the amount of studying I did.
Finally, the last period of the day: Theatre. About half the class was gone for something or other and our class is small to begin with, so I convinced Dr. McCathern to let us sit wherever we wanted to (next to Chris ^_^) We took notes and then she gave us chocolate, so it was all good.
At 4:30, Jodi's birthday party started at Brush Art. We painted ceramics. Of course, I chose the cat. Lydia's cat was stolen last weekend, so I intend to give it to her. She just got it for her birthday (Christmas), so she's feeling pretty depressed about it. ANYWAY, after quite a bit of time spent there, we all loaded into some cars and went to Western Bowl. However, Nini (Jodi's grandmother), took a wrong turn and it took us awhile to get back on track (needless to say, we were the last one's to get there).
I must say, Jodi and Gracie have an absolutely wonderful group of friends. Lillian is so CUTE (she's Chinese). Lauryn- she seriously looks hispanic, but she's actually part Japanese. Chinten (aka Kilay)- also Asian (not sure which part of Asia though). Steven-Vietnamese. He's extremely polite. Kanwal (pronounced Kavul)- Pakistani (actually moved to U.S. at the age of 4). Ryan- I reallly like it when he sings I Will Survive. He's a cool guy. Annie- She's really quiet, but very nice. Lissa and Richard have been around since 1st grade. Addison and Ashlie- they're twins. Their mother also happened to be my art teacher last year. I swear, Ashlie acts exactly like her mom. Sterling-she's my cousin. What can I say? And Jodi herself. I love Jodi. She and Gracie (and therefore, I'm included too) will always be friends. That's a really smart bunch.
So we had plenty of clean fun. Then came the pizza. That is the GREASIEST pizza I've eaten in my entire life. I got everyone to give me lots of high fives. Addison is the best high fiver I have ever met. It's amazing. I was quite random, but everyone seemed to love it. I got lots of hugs (and gave even more). However, all good things must end. At 8:30, our parents came to get us. Of course, Mrs. Damon came to pick up her twins. She's one of the teachers (along with Fillmore) that always got on to me for not wearing my hair down last year. She noticed that I had cut it...and then got on to me for still wearing it in a braid. ^_^
What great fun that was. And tomorrow- my friends. ^_^ |
Woah...your sister and Jodi really attract the Asians...AND what's with the hugging business?! The Anti-Hug Force is shamed by your actions! SHAMED!
