Altec Lansing
Jessica and I will be millionaires one day. All thanks to the Goldfish flavored kool-aid we're going to make (production starts tomorrow!). It's gonna be awesome.

Speaking of Jessica, strange coincidences are happenin lately relating to her.
First of all, Lyahn stole her mp3 player during the TAME thingy and I was listening to some stuff with her when a song I vaguely recognized started playing. Eventually I figured out I had seen an AMV using that song. So afterwards, I go home and get on my computer. I decided to visit a site I frequent and was reading one of the forums, when that same song came up. Later, I was downloading some AMVs and I (unintentionally) got one with the same song yet again. So I downloaded the song (as well as several songs by the same people). (Actually, whenever someone starts talking about a certain music, I often download a couple songs to find out what they're like. That's why I have a lot of the music I do.)
Coincidence #2: Yesterday, during lunch, Jessica mentioned a movie she had seen: Kissing Jessica Stein. After school, I was reading the movie recommendations of a certain web comic artist and one of the movies just so happened to be Kissing Jessica Stein. Honestly, this makes me want to see it. hmm.

I am going to swimming tomorrow. I am going to swimming tomorrow. I am going to swimming tomorrow regardless of homework. (Must keep telling myself that.)

Hmm. I need to go now I suppose.

Chroma
I'm done with high school swimming for the time being. I'll be going back to AST as soon as possible (meaning I don't have too much homework).

Let's take a look at some of the things that happened today.
3rd- Vanillawafer was late to class, so everyone had to wait in the hall.
4th- Much better than expected. I presented my project. McKissack took me aside after class to tell me she got my mom's e-mail (the content of which I found quite embarrassing) and she would think about giving me full credit for the project even though it was turned in late (in the end she DIDN'T). Oh well. I'll try to get it on here as soon as possible.
5th- My name was up on the board. And because of this fame, all the people asked me lots of questions about the homework. It was like I was average before, but now I've reached genius level in their eyes (thanks to one test). Anyway, I couldn't concentrate on my own homework because I kept having to explain practically every problem to them.
6th- In the computer lab. I finished before pretty much everyone else (and I only missed 1 question on the pre-test), so I started the introduction. I kinda killed the first dragon they let you play with because of a sex-linked gene (B). Hehe. I like the first page of the intro. It was pretty funny. And I like how the program is about the traits of DRAGONS.
7th- KYLER WAS CAUGHT CHEATING!! How I have longed for this day! I've noticed him trying to cheat off my paper millions of times. (example- Theatre semester test. I had to cover my answers with my arm so he wouldn't be able to see them.) But instead of trying to cheat off of someone else this time, he had all the answers written on his hand.
8th-Notes. I honestly can't think of a time I've been threatened.

I have to go to school early on Tuesday and Thursday to make up that biology test and for the geography tutorials. That means I get to sit around in the commons for an HOUR before my first class starts. Doesn't that sound FUN? -_-'

Chris is sick again. Poor Chris.

Here's something strange- During the past two weeks, I've started having bad (well, more of unhappy) dreams. I haven't had dreams like that (that I could actually remember) for YEARS.
First I had a dream that my dad had to go on some sort of trip for 5 years and I never thought I would see him again because my mom, my sister, and I were about to move to a place far away and he didn't know where we were going because there was absolutely no way to contact him.
Then I had a dream that Batman died and there was an ally with peelers (remember those?) and rats. But that's not the bad part of the dream. Jessica DIED. And I couldn't even go to her funeral. Man, in that dream I was really bawling.
And last night I had a dream that my dad was takikng me to school and decided he had to go this certain way which involved stopping at the Amarillo Town Club where there was a bunch of tennis players. And Vanillawafer was there? And then was going to be 20 min. late to school and I was freaking out and trying to get my dad to just drive to school. Then I woke up and eventually fell back asleep. About an hour later (around 5), I woke up again with the same feeling that I was going to be late to school.

This is not cool.

Anyway, that's all I have time for.

Project, District, and TAME
Today and yesterday have been, if nothing else, interesting.

First of all, I stayed up almost all night on Thursday trying to finish my English project. I finally allowed myself to go to sleep at 2:30 AM. I set my alarm for 4:30, and I did get up. But after turning off my alarm, I decided to lie down for just 5 more minutes (with the lights on and everything). I woke up again at 5:30. -_- Ugh.
So I was rushing to finish the project. The text was taking a lot longer than I had expected. Once I finished that, I tried printing the first page. Here's where the real problem started. It was taking way too long. I tried to cancel the printing and save all my pages first just in case something happened. Something did indeed happen, but before I could save. I ended up losing the entire first page (I'll have to redo it) and the text on all the other pages. Time was running out, so I gave up in order to not be too terribly late for the bus to Lubbock. I really screwed up.

I was last person to arrive at school, but I don't think anyone noticed because we had to wait so long for the Tascosa/Caprock bus. I spent the bus ride trying to sleep, and because I've lost so much sleep this week (11:30 all week long except for Thursday) I did actually sleep a little. Considering the whole English fiasco, I expected to be full of self-loathing (which I actually have been every morning for the past 2+ weeks), but I actually felt quite calm and happy. We ate a leisurely at Fazoli's, then went to the pool.
As to how I actually did in my events, I guess I did okay. I was DQed in the 200 IM because of taking to freestyle strokes on my backstroke turn (I new I was disqualified the second I turned over), but I really didn't care that much. 200 IM is not my event. I ended up finaling in breaststroke, but I didn't feel too bad about not going today because I was 8th. So we had dinner at Jason's Deli (there was a big debate over where to eat) and then came back here.

We arrived back here at 8:30. I was on my computer for a little bit then went to bed. Amazingly, I fell asleep extremely quickly.

At 8:30 this morning, my mom to Gracie and me to the west campus of AC for the TAME competition. I had fun talking with Jessica (and sometimes George) before our first test. After math, we had a 15 min. break and then we did the science test. Then everyone got some pizza and we waited for them to score the tests. And we waited and waited. It was actually kinda fun though. Jessica, Lyahn, Meggan, Gracie, and I sat with each other after we were allowed back in the room. (George ran off with the St. Andrew's kids).
At long last, they announced the winners of each test.
Grace got first in her math test! I am very proud of her. ^_^
I got 3rd in Biology and 2nd in Geometry.
Jessica got 2nd in Biology.
George, as expected, got 1st in Biology, 1st in Geometry, and 1st overall (out of ALL the high school students in ALL the different classes.)
Here's something interesting though: There was a 3 way tie for 2nd place in biology between me, Jessica, and Michael Clark. To see who got what place, they go by who has the most consecutive correct answers. So Jessica beat me, and I beat Michael.

Anyway, I believe the four of us (Grace, George, Jessica, and I) will all be going to state. ^_^

As for my English project, my mom is going to e-mail Mrs. McKissack about my situation.

Tonight- Sandie Revue. Chris better remember to come.

So, overall, everything is pretty good.

Simple And Clean
Hiya!

I'm drowning in pressure from my fellow swimmers/coach. How can they even be so sure that I'll final? I honestly don't think I'm capable of it. And even if I did final, I like TAME more than swim meets. So what if it's an honor to be a freshman going to regionals? So what if I'm giving up the chance to letter? Man, that hurts, but I need to keep telling myself that or I'll lose my resolve. Even my own mother doesn't understand. She doesn't understand how after these past 8 years of swimming just for an oppurtunity like this I can so easily give it up. Plus, there's always the chance I'll final, but go to TAME anyway and not get picked to go to state. Especially when there's kids like George and Jessica competing against you. But ideally, all three of us will get to go (which would probably mean I'd be sharing a room with Jessica like at Mathcounts).
Gracie's doing TAME this year too. Oh jeez. I really, really hope she isn't disappointed. (It's not my fault I'm better than she is in math. She's better in English. If only she could remember that sometimes.)

So tomorrow the field trip in theatre.
Then the meet on Friday.
Then TAME on Saturday morning.
Then on Saturday evening, I'll be attending a performance of the Sandie Revue (Jessica persuaded me to go since I'll be gone on Friday.) I asked Gracie if she wanted to go too, but she was uninterested. Anyone want to go with me? Tickets are $6.

Swimming is going to be really short tomorrow. We start at 6:30 and get out no later than 7:15 (and probably earlier than that!). This is crazy.

This scanner of mine is dumb. It is sssooooooooooo slow!! I can't even get anything done!

Why is it that homosexuality comes into conversations at school every day? Sure, it's kinda become expected during our lunch conversations, but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about just the random people in class. In theatre, a group was performing one of their lazzi in which two guys tried to balance these long sticks in their hands and this girl pretended to be walking the tight rope. One of the guys was really good and the other wasn't. The one who wasn't said, "I see you're much better at holding a stick than I am" and the whole class burst out into laughter.

In science I guess it was sort of expected today, but Sam and Mike are just way too perverted.
Speaking of science, my wife got to be my wife. That was great. It was also great how there were 3 kids. (I thought our menage a trois wasn't due until late May or June or something like that.)

I got the list of movies we can watch for this 6 weeks outside activity in theatre. Interestingly, we have all but one of the movies on the list (not hard to believe).

My iPod is good now.

Geometry test today. Spanish test tomorrow. Biology test to makeup on Monday. World Geography test on Monday.

Hey. We got progress reports today. I keep forgetting that.

I get to be a wolf named Scrapefoot the Brave in Heather's novel. That's pretty awesome.

Okay. Here's something interesting. Often I leave money in my pockets (usually only a dollar or so), and it goes through the wash. Many times I have found this money and thought, "cool!". But then I forget about it again and the pants go to the laundry again. So today I found $15 dollars in my pocket. So I bought a directory from Heather Holmes. Then cousin Heather needed some money to get a ticket to the Sandie Revue, so I paid for it. Then Jessica came to me trying to get me to buy a ticket to the Saturday performance and I gave her the remaining $10 (she's going to give me my change tomorrow). Ah, what providence!

I have the feeling I forgot something...Oh well. I better get to work now.

WOW O_O
I envy this man- http://www.gomanga.com/news/features_027.php

Okay. So I was reorganizing my comics so it's easier to know when they update and such when I got to Aoi House. It's written by a guy named Adam Arnold. So I decided to look at the extras for the comic, one of which being a tour of Adam's room. THAT IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE ROOM EVER. And as I was reading the stuff below each picture, I found out that Adam Arnold did the English adaption of LOVE HINA!! So I went to my shelves and checked, and sure enough, it was true. I AM SO ENVIOUS.

This guy is amazing.

That's really all I have time for.

GTO
Greetings.

I have cool socks.
I hate homework.
I like drawing, but sometimes I don't like drawing for that English project. Sometimes I do.

We've started to taper for district. I think tapering is dumb (remember, I swim for the health aspects, not the competition), but whatever. I get to sleep 15 minutes more! Yay!

We got a progress report thingy in Theatre. It says I haven't taken a quiz. I know I did, so I'm going to show it to DOCTOR McCathern tomorrow. Also, my group is going to have a terrible performance tomorrow. If only these people would at least give me something to work with!

Man, I'm going to miss my afternoon classes for 2 days in a row. I don't like to think about the makeup work.

When I came home today, I was lying on my bed and fell asleep.

I found out the cause of the songs not playing on my iPod. It's the stand thingy. I didn't kill it after all!

We're a bit behind schedule on the English project. Boo!

Last night, right before I was going to go to sleep, my dad came into my room and decided to install the old printer/scanner (only the scanner still works though). Okay. That's great, and I wanted it and everything, but.... WHY DID HE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL I WAS GOING TO BED?

Well, I better look over my magic tricks now. Bye.

Spitting Games
Hey peeps.

So I swam this morning. I tried working on my 200 IM. I timed myself (with a dive and everything). Let's just say my time was bbaaaaaaddddddd. We're talking 15 seconds slower than I what I swam at time trials (that just goes to show HOW BAD HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING IS. It should die.) Anyway, this is worrisome. I honestly don't care how slow I am, but Brad will be putting down my time trials time for district. Which means I'll be in a heat with a bunch of people much faster than I am. Which means I'll finish last and look like a fool. Ugh. =_= This is why I hate meets.

I did get around to starting the English project. This is important because I have one less day than everyone else to finish it (I'll be gone on Friday). So I worked out a schedule type thing:
Today- Draw as much as possible.
Tomorrow- Ink during school. Finish drawing (if possible) after school.
Tuesday- Ink the rest during school. Scan them after school and color as much as possible.
Wednesday- Since it's collaboration, color before school. Try to finish coloring and adding text after school.
Thursday- If I can't finish it Wednesday night, I'll wake up early in the morning. (Let's cross our fingers and hope the printer works.) Then I have to turn it in. >_<

So it's gonna be pretty tight. I hope I can do it. *uneasy feeling* If only the rest of my teacher didn't assign homework. =(

Well, at least it's only going to be about 4-5 pages. That's good.

2 A Day
Hi! I guess I have more to add.

So... I "swam" in my pool today. "Swam" is in parenthesis because I was actually not feeling good (i.e. in excruciating pain), so I didn't do much real swimming. It was mostly just floating around and playing. But tomorrow I resolve to take some Aleve or something before I go swimming so I can actually get a workout in.

Now I planned to start that English project....but that kinda died.

But about 2 hours ago, my dad took Gracie and me to Hobby Lobby and I got some special pens and pencil.
Then we went to Best Buy. There's a movie I want to see, but (as I expected) they didn't have it. Gracie got a PSP game.
Next was Barnes & Noble. I got 2 more volumes of manga and Grace got some books (one of which she was persuaded to get by me :3).

So now I'm back home.

Anyway, the movie I'm interested in is But I'm A Cheerleader. It was one of the movie recommendations of the artist of one of the comics I read. I believe her recommendation was one of those in that really long post from a few days ago.
I'm trying to download it with BitTorrent. At first, I couldn't find anyone who had it, but now it's going at a steady 78 kB/s. I just hope it continues going at this rate (sadly, that is unlikely =( ).

Here's something strange. Nowadays, I always play my iPod using the thingy William gave me. My iPod was fine until I got back from Angelfire. For some odd reason, it can't play half the songs unless I turn off the stand, then the iPod, then turn them both back on. Interestingly, all of the songs I got from actual CDs are all included in this half that won't play. I have three ideas of what the reason for this is (these are not in any order of what I think is most likely or anything, they are just what popped in my head):
  1. My iPod has worn out and died.
  2. The stand thingy killed it.
  3. When I updated it right before leaving for Angelfire, I accidentally did something.
Yeah. That's all I have. I'm too lazy to figure out what's really wrong with it, much less fix it. ...I guess I will eventually though.

Oy
Hi. I have some stuff to say now.

First of all: Last weekend, while skiing, I found out that the bruise I got from slipping on the block during a swim meet is still there. My gosh! I got that in NOVEMBER. But also got me thinking... As far back as I can remember, my left ski boot has always been much less comfortable than the right because of that exact spot. Have I always had a screwed up leg?

So next Friday, I'll be swimming the 100 breast in the meet in Lubbock. As for my second event, Brad basically let me choose any event I wanted. So I'm in the 200 IM.

Yesterday was the Superintendent Scholar thingy. Gosh that was boring. I got a headache. It lasted for the rest of the day. It was not good.

I am going to start that English project today.

I updated my comic links. Check 'em out.

My dad is still sick. My mom is sick too. =_= This is bad.

Also, I decided to download some of the Negima! anime series. I didn't bother with most of it since it probably just follows the manga. So I started out with episode 21. Heh. I got lucky. That's the episode where they start deviating from the books and make up their own ending. Anyway, I've seen 21-24. I swear, if Ken Akamatsu tries to pull what they're doing in the anime I (and many, many other fans, I'm sure) will SLAUGHTER HIM.

Yesterday marks the 8th year since I started swimming. Wow.

Any other stuff I planned to say here has been forgotten.

Uh...yeah. Bye.

Last Man on the Moon
Updates of today:

1.) So I went to Best Buy, showed my dad what I needed, and then he told me, "I already have that." What!?! Man. If only I had known. Anyway, he put it on my computer.

2.) This is very, very weird. I feel like I'm dreaming right now. As in, I'm asleep and none of what is happening is really happening. But I know I'm awake. It's so weird! What's wrong with me?? This is totally screwing with my sense of reality.

Tiny Little Fractures
Hi! I know that I wasn't supposed to get back from Angelfire until tomorrow afternoon, but here I am.

I must admit- That is the least amout of skiing I've ever done on a skiing trip. Here's what happened.:
We arrived in Angelfire at about 10:30PM local time (11:30 here), unloaded, and went to bed.
The next morning (Saturday), we went to get our skis, but since my dad was feeling really sick, he decided not to even try to ski. We went to the slopes and skiied until lunch time (I only went down 3 times). After lunch, I was feeling really lethargic (I couldn't even will myself to get off the couch to get a drink), so I took a nap while Gracie and Jodi went back to ski some more. When they came back, we had an early dinner. Then all of us (my parents, Jodi, Gracie, and I) watched The March of the Penguins. My dad was still really, really sick, and my mom was starting to get really worried. He had a fever and his pulse was 120 (for comparison, my resting pulse is usually around 65-70). He had actually started coming down with something a week ago, and that probably put him at risk for pulmonary edema from the altitude. He kept insisting my mom just take him to a hotel in Cimmaron (or however you spell it), but she didn't want to split us up. So we decided to pack up and leave. My mom tried to get ahold of the Schaeffers, but couldn't, so she called the Allisons. Uncle David and John helped us pack up the car and said they would return our skiis for us. They offered to let me stay with them, which I'm sure Heather would've liked, but I could only see it complicating things, so I stuck with my family. (Heather, to make up for it, I'm going to do something special for you. :3) Anyway, I tried to sleep, but that stupid truck is extemely uncomfortable. Even so, I tried drift in and out of sleep because I was so tired. We finally got home at about 12:30 this morning. After we unloaded the truck, we all went right to sleep.

So, that's my story. Also, on the way there and back my mom told us some funny (and true) stories. I don't remember the first time I went skiing. I was only 1 at the time (okay, to be honest, I was a month away from being 2 years old.) My mom had a funny story about that.

Now for a new topic. I swam for an hour earlier. For lack of any better ideas, I did one of the super sprint sets (I can never remember which is which. It was the one with the 50s). Yeah. I had the pool all to myself so it was nice. Plus, the water was the perfect temperature. Not too hot or too cold. ^_^

I'm quite excited. Why? Because I'm getting Adobe Photoshop! Yay! I'm going to use a site I found over the summer to learn how to use it. (Her tutorials will teach me what I want to do.) I must say, Jessica Peffers' art is absolutely stunning. Check it out- Neon Dragon Art.com
Anyway, I intend to use it for that English project. This is going to be so fun. :3 Finally, I can color pictures without lousy colored pencils. And if I ever get good enough (it's gonna take practice), I might get a Deviant Art account. That would be awesome.
Now, why haven't I done this before? Three reasons:
  1. I never really had a good reason too. Having a good reason helps with the persuasion. I think this English project is good enough.
  2. I didn't think I was smart enough to figure out how to use it.
  3. The main reason- It's quite expensive.
So I'm gonna go to Best Buy today to get it (if they have it anyway).

That is all.

And in case you were wondering, my dad is feeling better than yesterday, but is still very, very sick.

Stringy
Hey peeps.

I have a bad headache. Started around lunchtime. Medicine didn't help much. =_= Today was definately NOT the day I wanted to get so much homework. Thank goodness I get to "sleep in" tomorrow (I'll probably have to get up early to finish my homework.)

So....William showed me a new comic yesterday. I finished reading the archives. It's good. Check it out. Red String by Gina Biggs heh. :3

I hope I don't get carsick on the way to Angelfire tomorrow. =_= I haven't started packing yet either. Ugh.

George is too studious. This is the second day in a row he's missed lunch. (Or could he be smoking in the restroom? :3)

William leaves on the 15th. How sad. We'll all be in Angelfire. And Richard just sort of disappeared on Monday. Didn't get to say goodbye to him either. I wonder if William will forget about his ninjas that are still here in my room.

Someone keeps calling my/Gracie's cell phone. So my dad called the number back. Target?? Yes. The store is calling us for an unknown reason. On a cell phone number that's been given to one person outside the family that I know of (Abby).

------------------------can't think of anything.

=_= bye.

Comics and Movies

Hiya! ^_^ Funny stuff makes me laugh and laughing makes me happy. But first! The News.

Huzzah! Monday and Tuesday the water at the Maverick was FREEZING, but today it was great! ^_^

I to leave school early! I left at the end of 7th period for a DENTIST APPOINTMENT. Coincidentally, Audrey was had an appointment too, so I saw Aunt CJ at Dr. Duncan's office (Audrey was apparently in the room next to mine.)

NOW: Happy fun! Today's Feature: SARAH'S ULTRA-PO-MORPHIC RANDOMLY AWESOME POST OF THE YEAR ON 1/11/06

Because of Aoi House, I have now found another hilarious comic. It's called Chugworth Academy. The comic at the top of the post is one I found particularly funny . But beware, the comic can be dirty.

Also, I was looking at one of my other web comics and noticed they had made a Frappr map. So I joined. That's my 3rd one. ^_^ So anyway, I decided to look at other features of the website and found a page of recommendations of comics, manga, and movies the artist liked. I found some of the descriptions are absolutely hilarious. Here are some of the movies:
BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER Makes fun of every gay stereotype in the book. A cheerleader is accused of being gay and is sent to "True Directions" to put her on the "right" track. HILLARIOUS. 10
FIRE Two Indian women with less than sensitive husbands find solace in each other and begin a clandestine relationship. Created riots in India. 9
AIMEE AND JAGUAR In Germany during WWII, a married woman falls for a Jewish woman and they carry on a secret affair. A true story. 9 (I found that 'true story' part interesting)
HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH Okay, no lesbians here, but this is seriously one of the best musicals I've ever seen. Drag queens abound. You'll sing these songs for days if not years. 11
MAY May is sort of what Fiona would be if Fiona went psychotic. I think. Maybe. Zombies abound. So do sexy lesbians making out. But seriously, this is a trippy movie that... man, I love this movie so much. 11 (Fiona is the main character of her comic)
And to top it all off:
JESUS CHRIST: VAMPIRE HUNTER Vampires have been killing lesbians left and right, and now it's up to the big JC to stop them. This... is so bad, it's good. In fact, it's great. And the girls are reeeeeally hot. 7 (Just because it's such a hoaky film).
(Now that sounds absolutely hilarious. ^_^)

Now, you may have noticed a trend in these movies. Keep in mind that these are the recommendations of the comic artist, not me. (But they do sound quite entertaining. :3)

Yeah...um....there's a pasta party at Clay's house tomorrow. I'd go, but I'm not going to the meet, so I see no point.

William found out I read PAWN. And Girly. DARN DARN DARN! And if he looks up some of my other comics... THE HORROR! I MUST NOT BE FOUND OUT!

Okay. Test in Espanol tomorrow that I haven't studied for. Not much else happening right now.

Oh! I might -might- get to do TAME after all! YAY! We'll just have to see how it works out. (cross your fingers)

William gave me this accessory for my iPod since he got a fancier one from Ruthie for Christmas. Cool. Now I won't have to turn on my computer every time I want to listen to music and thus won't be so easily distracted. Yay!

Darn. I haven't even looked at that essay for Spanish yet. I think it should be easy, but I'm procrastinating. (Due Friday.)

I hope to see Caitlee at school tomorrow. I have a surprise for her.

Heather's gonna be my skiing buddy. I think. :3

You know what's really fun? Listening to MUSIC while SKIING. Especially the song Rage of the Winter by Rhapsody. Nothin' like epic metal to get you goin'. ^_^

I need to find myself another long book to read. Hopefully I'll find one I can read in the car on the way to ANGELFIRE.

I like the song playing right now. ^_^ Since I love you, here's the lyrics.

Let It Whip (as sung by SR-71)

Wanna see you with it
Shoud've treated you right
Give me just a minute
Of your time tonight

We both are here to have the fun
So let it whip

We'll get into groovin'be your joker man

We both are here to have the fun
So let it whip

So let it whip
(let's whip it baby)
Child
(let's whip it right)
Get a grip
(let's whip it baby, whip it all night)
Well, what's your trip

Whee!! That was nice. This song is associated with a WEBSITE in my mind. And since most songs I listen to many times while doing a certain thing come to be associated with it, that makes SENSE.

I like SR-71 two songs I have are less than appropriate. Of course, that's coming from me. And I hate obscene music (unless it makes me laugh. Then it's perfectly okay. ^_^).

I drew Heather today! ^_^ But of course, once I looked at it again after school, I made a few changes. It's better now (a bit).

Okay. Let's take a brief look at Sarah's train of thought right now. With fancy NUMBERING!
  1. *glances at desk where 'Awesome Magic' kit is sitting*
  2. Hmm...So Nate got this for me from his school Christmas shop thingy. I should try it out.
  3. I remember the one we had at Sleepy Hollow.
  4. Heh. I'm so lucky. The winner of the last Big Stocking.
  5. ^_^ I'm such a lucky person. Like that time I won the raffle prize in TAME and prayed to my Lucky Tiki that he would win too and he DID!
  6. Here we branch to two thoughts:
    1) TAME....*bittersweet thoughts*
    2) LUCKY TIKI! ^_^ Helps me whenever I want it too. ^_^ From Hawaii.
  7. Hawaii.... we've been there TWICE. Why does my dad want to go AGAIN this summer? Why not some where new like ALASKA?
Okay. Umm..... I think I'm done now. I hope you all enjoyed.

Gold Stickers
Okay. I've got some good stuff and some bad stuff to say.

  1. First off- good. I'm going skiing this weekend instead of the swim meet in Lubbock. ^_^ I'm actually doing what I want to do. But I know that no matter what I did, I would be made to feel guilty. Oh well.
  2. Bad. I checked the calender on the TAME website. The city competition is on the same day as the District swim meet. Darn it! And of course, I'll have to go to the meet. =(
  3. Also bad. Yesterday, while doing a kick set at swim practice, I was catching up on the guy in front of me, but he didn't notice me and started doing breaststroke kick. Ouch! He kicked me really hard in my side. Now I have a big bruise. =(

Why can't I just make up my mind? Sometimes I love swimming, others I hate it. I admit, the swimming story I read over the weekend probably influenced my early decision to go to Lubbock which I changed just this morning. Here's something interesting: I've only read 2 stories about swimmers (both fiction) and stuff and both of them took place on the other side of the world (Australia & New Zealand). I find it kind of hard to visualize them always swimming in a 50 m pool instead of 25 yd. one even though I swim in a 50 m pool every summer.

New topic. As often happens, there was some interesting conversation at lunch. Today's topic gay men. During this conversation, I had the chance to bring up a comic I've started reading (William showed it to me this weekend): Aoi House. It's really good and I recommend it (don't worry, no actual gay men in the cast at this point). Also, the unintentional highlight of the conversation: ....I wonder whether the gay guy slept on the top or bottom bunk. Sadly, this would make the most sense in the context it was used, but trust me it was funny.

World Geography test tomorrow....and, of course, I haven't studied at all. Maybe I'll do that at lunch...mabye.

I sketched the back of Heather's head in Geometry today. It turned out okay. But then I had to turn my homework in (on which I did the drawing). How sad. I hope I get it back soon.

That's all I can think of to say at the moment.

Me Bookies!
So...I caught up on all my shows today. Hiei looks pretty creepy as a baby. ^_^

Number of times Billiam has gone too far over the break: 4 (or is it 5? I lost count -_-')
I hate how easy it is for him to make me cry.

Okay, so yesterday and today William was bugging me about something OVER AND OVER and it was terrible. So the ONE time out 100 times (not exaggerating here) he tried to get to me I reacted. And then I was made to feel like the one at fault by my mother (it takes two fight fight yada yada...)! That's so not fair for me not to be able to do anything. Anyway, my mom made William apologize and promise stop being so mean to be. Then I sorta broke down, but I had to put myself together again because we were about to walk into Office Max (I KNOW he's not going to keep his promise).

Anyway, we went to Barnes & Noble. I bought 13 books. What does this tell us? It's been way too long. I've already read 4 of them. ^_^;

It's 9:02 and I haven't started my homework. I still haven't even thought of what I'm going to do for my country due tomorrow. But honestly, I couldn't bring myself to do it all day. Not my fault if I had this really empty and lethargic feeling.

I went an entire day without my precious bracelet. Oh man. It really killed me. I kept feeling my wrist and it wasn't there! :'( My mom took it yesterday so she could put this plastic on the bottom to help hold it together (there are many cracks). So she fixed it this morning and it took forever for the glue to dry. Actually, it's still not completely dry, but I took it back about 30 min. ago anyway.

.....oh shoot. I can't open it anymore. I snapped it and the glue dried that way. Darn. That was stupid.

My family is going to Angelfire next weekend. But I can't go because of a stupid SWIM MEET. DARN IT! We go to Angelfire every year! I've gone since I was a toddler. =(

Overall, this weekend wasn't very good.

Well, I better start my homework. =( Oh how I wish time would just stop!

Happy Stalking Awareness Month!
Okay. Big post of the new year.

On Thursday, I went to this BSA thingy at the Civic Center. The special guest person was Dave Barry!! It was great. It was formal and what not, so I wore that shirt my grandmother gave me, but that's nothing. You should've seen what my AUNT was wearing. *cough*CLEAVAGE*cough* hehe. And Dave Barry called my grandmother a deranged woman. And his actual speech was hilarious (all the material was taken from his books and column, but it was still great). The exploding whale story made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe. It really hurt. Anyway, you can actually see the video of the whale exploding whale here.
The food was really fancy, but it wasn't very good. I had quail for the first time. No, it does not taste like chicken. Beef tenderloin that is way undercooked doesn't either. But the fact I've had quail is cool. And the person who created the menu is the mother of a high school friend of Richard. Apparently, she would create these fancy meals for her son and his friends (such as my brother) for lunch EVERY DAY. 0.0
I feal really, really sorry for Gracie because she didn't get to go to this lovely event because she had way too much homework (every subject). =(

So, I got home at 10, William insisted in staying in my room until 10:20, and at 10:30 I was informed that there would be a swim meet the next day. That was just dandy. Then I read until 11. Of course, I had to get up at 4:30 to do my homework, and had to get ready for swimming at 5:30. Yeah...5 hours of sleep isn't very fun.

So after school yesterday, I went home, got ready, and waited for my mom to take me to the Maverick. I arrived there to late to warm up for the meet. -_-' I did absolutely terribly in my events. Of course, it was kind of expected considering I hadn't swum in over a week and missed the warm up and just stood around during the 15 min. break. But even so, adding 4 seconds to breast and over 10 to fly is really, really bad. But I did get to see Eleysa and Elle. Yay! (Elle does NOT need to be wearing shoes with 3 in. soles. She's tall enough already!)

So I got home, showered, and ate dinner. I was dead tired, but I watched a movie with my family anyway. (For those of you who are curious, we watched Wedding Crashers.) Then I read some more (I should stop doing that late into the night). I still didn't finish that freakin' story.

So I finished it today. It was good. ^_^ >:3

I hope to go to Barnes&Noble tomorrow. I haven't gone in over a month! (Plus, I got a gift card for Christmas. ^_^)

There's a swim meet next weekend in Lubbock. Blech.

Now I must tell you about 2 things that are important in my life.

1) Somehow, it was decided I should get my dad's car when I turn 16. It's a really nice car and would be much better than my brother's first cars....but I just don't want it. SO, it was all worked out on our way to the Dave Barry thing. My dad gets a new car. William gets his car (which is a "cool college car" and would be best for tight parking in Austin and the long drive between Austin and Amarillo). I get William's car (which is a "cool high school car" and I have expressed liking of). So everyone is happy! ^_^

2) I am seriously considering changing my name. Or rather, adding a name. Which would mean my initials would be SEAB and I would have 2 last names. If you haven't guessed it, The name is Archer. Why? Because Biggs is the LAMEST last name EVER. I've diliked it since I was little. And my mom has always told me she would let me change it (she thinks it's unfair that our stupid society has us take the father's name which I TOTALLY agree with). Even with the change, I'd still go by the same thing in high school (since everyone knows me as Biggs). But when I go off to college... then I could potentially DROP the Biggs. ^_^ Now of course my dad feels hurt by this. Well, it's not his fault he has a stupid last name. And you know, my mom said that if I ever applied to medical school (she probably meant Southwestern) they would know exactly who I was. I thought that was kinda funny.
Anyway, I would like some feedback on this idea.

Rose Bowl Wear
Okay. This is not a real post. I'll do that later (maybe this weekend). But I've gotta say this one thing. Richard's girfriend, Terese, is wearing an outfit that looks almost exactly like one Naru wore in Volume 1 Chapter 4 of Love Hina. It's so strange. However, the fact I can so accurately a single outfit worn by a COMIC BOOK CHARACTER is even stranger. (geek)
